Featuring Rotten Royals, Awful Ancestors & Pestilent Plagues!
The Young Nomads Seniors' annual play is back!
This whirlwind show takes us on a journey through our own British history, from our 1st monarch right up to modern times.
Full of satire, sarcasm and wit, this play showcases the acting talents and comedic timing of the Young Nomads as they bring famous historical characters to life, providing much needed laughter after the most recent pandemic. (Not our first by a long shot!)
So come and join us for a fun show. You never know, you may even learn some historical facts you never knew before!
A Suspensful Psychological Thriller
Miriam has cared for her father in their neglected and run-down family home during his vituperative final years with the help of a creepily polite nurse, Alice. On Father's death, Miriam's older sister, handsome, divorced Annabel, comes home after over thirty years in Tasmania to find Daddy has left the bulk of his fortune to her.
Alice complains to Annabel that Miriam has sacked her and threatens blackmail, having evidence, she says, that Miriam did away with the old man. And so Miriam and Annabel join forces against Alice with grim consequences…
Described by the Sunday Times as “A creepily, scarily, eerily enjoyable evening”, this thriller is full of twists and turns and the suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat! With humour along the way, we hope you can join us all for this wonderful production.

"It's pronounced "Fronkensteen..."
Respected medical lecturer Dr. Frederick Frankenstein learns that he has inherited his infamous grandfather's estate in Transylvania.
Arriving at the castle, Dr. Frankenstein soon begins to recreate his grandfather's experiments with the help of hunchbacked side-kick Igor (pronounced “Eye-gore”), leggy lab assistant Inga (pronounced normally), and the fearsome Frau Blücher (neeeigh!).
When Frederick inevitably creates his own monster, complications soon arise with the arrival of his fiancée, Elizabeth...
With such memorable tunes as "The Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' On The Ritz," Young Frankenstein is scientifically-proven, monstrously good entertainment!
Join Young Nomads as we follow the Yellow Brick Road!
