harmony returns!!

Great news! Due to the level of interest, the Nomads choir will be reinstated with the first meeting scheduled for Wednesday 4th of March at the Kings Theatre, Newmarket!

Meetings will be every Wednesday (apart from school holidays) from 7.30pm - 9.30pm, and our choir is open to everyone, including non-members.  This will be a fun group focused on the joy of singing, and there may even be opportunities to perform onstage! Although this is entirely optional.

Costs are £3 per week for members and £4 per week for non-members. If you would like to become a member, Nomads membership is just £20 per year. You are welcome to join us anytime, so why not come along and bring a friend? You'll receive a warm welcome and meet other music-lovers!

ladies in lavender
17 - 21 march 2020

An evocative, heart-warming story of unfulfilled dreams and unrequited love, Ladies in Lavender tells the tale of two sisters, Ursula and Janet, who live in a close-knit fishing village in picturesque Cornwall in 1936. When a handsome and talented young Polish violinist, Andrea, (bound for America) is washed ashore, the Widdington sisters take him under their wing and nurse him back to health. But Ursula finds herself falling in love with Andrea, prompting a journey of self-discovery... and unease in others.

Come and see Nomads' version of this delightful play, and enjoy an evening of love, intrigue, Cornish wit, and the unpredictable workings of fate.
