Senior Summer School!
It’s the first day after winter break at East High and the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all rejoin their respective cliques. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, is surprised to discover that brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High and it’s not long before the couple cause uproar when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Many of the students resent the threat to the "status quo," but Troy and Gabriella’s alliance may just open the door for others to shine as well.
